Google Create 3D Map of Prince William Kate Wedding
Google Inc. does not want to miss celebrating Prince William and Catherine Middleton’s wedding to on 29 April.
Google will participate by presenting a map of the route the royal wedding procession in a three-dimensional (3D) version. The route can be accessed through the Google Earth service.
In planning, the wedding procession route will start from the Church of Westminster Abbey, where he did the sacrament of marriage the couple. From there, three-dimensional route will show that the bridal party will pass the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, accompanied by the horse guard’s parade before finally reaching Buckingham Palace.
Currently, Google Earth has provided thousands of pictures of historic buildings in three dimensions from the air. To make the marriage route, Phil Verney, Program Manager of Google Earth and Maps said it had to change the Park St James Park, Green Park and Hyde Park.
“In order to appear greener, we have planted more than 12 thousand trees virtually,” he said.
